ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ and Mosman Preparatory School have formalised a partnership to provide a new pathway for Mosman Prep students to enter Year 7 at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ.
From 2028, the ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ Year 7 intake will include an additional 15 places for students who have completed their primary schooling at Mosman Prep. Mosman Prep will seek expressions of interest from parents wishing to enrol their son in Year 7 at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ and 15 students will be selected to proceed via ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ’s standard enrolment process.
The 15 positions offered each year represent a new and different pathway into ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ and this pathway is completely separate from ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ’s standard waitlist process.
Mosman Prep will manage all enquiries relating to this partnership and its implementation.

When does the partnership arrangement take effect?
The arrangement will begin with enrolments in Year 7, 2028. Families with children entering Year 7 before this date must follow the current ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ enrolment process.
Who is eligible?
To be eligible, students must be enrolled and attending Mosman Prep in Year 3 and must remain a student at Mosman Prep until the completion of Year 6.
How will applicants from Mosman Prep be selected?
The Headmaster of Mosman Prep will each year seek interest from parents of students in Year 3 wishing to enrol their son in Year 7 at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ and will select 15 students from those interested (Year 4 in 2025). Families of the selected students must then complete the standard ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ enrolment application if they have not already done so.
Will my son need to attend an interview at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ as a step in the enrolment process?
Yes. If your son is one of the 15 Mosman Prep students, he will need to attend an interview at ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ prior to a formal place offer. All enrolments remain subject to ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ’s usual enrolment standards and procedures. ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ retains the discretion to decline enrolment if a student does not meet these standards.
Is the place offer reliant on the interview?
Yes. Enrolment offers remain at the discretion of ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ which may or may not decide to proceed with an offer of a place.
If the 15 places are not filled with Mosman Prep students, will they be offered to the general ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ waitlist?
Yes.
Will more schools be added in the future?
At this stage, ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵÏÂÔØ is only introducing this arrangement with Mosman Prep. Any future changes will be carefully considered and communicated well in advance.
